Meet The Team

Kerry L. Iris
Chief Executive Officer
Since 2006, Kerry Iris has served as Chief Executive Officer of Dowel Iris, overseeing company operations, serving as General Counsel, and managing capital markets transactions. She is also a founding member and Chief Executive Officer of Resolution Capitol Management, where she oversees daily operations.
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Kerry began her career as a transactional real estate attorney in New York City before continuing her legal career in Washington, D.C., focusing on real estate acquisitions, leasing, and financing.
Kerry has held numerous community leadership roles, including nearly 20 years as co-chair of the DC Building Industry Association’s Community Services Committee. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, its Board of Women’s Philanthropy, and the Advisory Council of the Tikkun Olam Women’s Foundation.

Elsa Lopez
Property Accountant
Elsa Lopez serves as a Property Accountant at Resolution Capitol Management, overseeing accounting for the firm’s Mid-Atlantic portfolio. Prior to joining the company, she worked at a CPA firm providing accounting and financial services to more than 15 businesses, including property management clients. She also operates her own accounting business serving small businesses.
Elsa holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Strayer University and is a licensed Tax Preparer in Maryland. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her family.

Alia Keys
Property Manager
Alia Keys brings several years of experience managing commercial and mixed-use properties throughout the Washington, D.C. and Maryland region. Her experience includes property operations, tenant relations, lease administration, vendor management, budgeting, capital improvements, and financial reporting.
Known for her hands-on, service-oriented approach, Alia focuses on strong communication, lasting relationships, and maximizing each property’s performance and long-term value.
Outside of real estate, Alia owns Keys to Design, an event décor and balloon design company, further strengthening her experience in project management, budgeting, and client relations.

Will Hilton
Assistant Project Manager
Will Hilton serves as an Assistant Project Manager at Iris Construction, bringing experience in construction management and financial analysis. He holds a degree in Financial Management from Clemson University with a concentration in Real Estate.
Prior to joining Iris Construction, Will spent two years with a leading Mid-Atlantic general contractor, supporting retail, multifamily, and industrial developments. His experience includes preconstruction, cost estimating, subcontractor coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and on-site execution.
Outside of work, Will enjoys golfing and playing guitar.

Jared I. Kassoff
Chief Operating Officer
Jared Kassoff is a Principal and Chief Operating Officer at Resolution Capitol Management, where he oversees day-to-day operations, asset and property management, and ground-up and value-add development projects. His responsibilities include leasing strategy, financial performance, capital planning, predevelopment, entitlements, and construction execution. He also serves on the Investment Committee for affiliate firm Dowel-Iris.
Previously, Jared was a Vice President at KeyBanc Capital Markets, where he worked with REIT-focused institutional clients and some of the world’s largest real estate investors.
Jared holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Finance from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University. He also serves on several nonprofit and alumni boards and finance committees, including St. Andrew’s Episcopal School and the University of Maryland Hillel.

Ryan Treptow
Real Estate Analyst
Ryan Treptow joined as Resolution Capitol Management’s Real Estate Analyst. With a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin, and experience in qualitative data analysis and data modeling, Ryan assists the team in many of its operations, particularly in budget/forecast and variance reporting.
Ryan brings a diverse professional background from marketing and advertising consulting, government contracting and policy research, and a business-focus throughout his undergrad, all requiring and fostering a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Ryan is also an avid runner having been Vice President of the UW Madison running club for 2 years, and frequently writes in his spare time, being particularly fond of writing mysteries.

Beckett Norris
Assistant Property Manager
Beckett Norris serves as an Assistant Property Manager at Resolution Capitol Management, bringing experience in commercial real estate investment sales and residential property operations. He focuses on resident satisfaction, operational efficiency, and overall asset performance.
Prior to joining Resolution, Beckett worked as a broker at Greysteel Commercial Real Estate, specializing in investment sales and gaining experience in real estate values, owner priorities, and market dynamics.
A Washington, D.C. area native, Beckett is a graduate of The Landon School and attended the College of Charleston. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing and spending summers at Dewey Beach.

Pedro Pena
Lead Maintenance Engineer
Pedro Pena serves as Lead Maintenance Engineer for Resolution Capitol Management’s residential, office, and industrial portfolio. With more than 15 years of experience as a building mechanic, he brings extensive knowledge of building operations, maintenance, mechanical systems, and preventative maintenance.
Prior to joining Resolution, Pedro supported the daily operations and maintenance of more than 300,000 square feet of office and retail space in Northern Virginia, coordinating mechanical systems, vendors, repairs, and required building testing.
Pedro is bilingual in English and Spanish. Outside of work, he enjoys soccer, camping, and fishing.

Eric Kassoff
Advisory Board Chair
Eric Kassoff brings more than 35 years of commercial real estate experience, specializing in real estate tax litigation. As Advisory Board Chair of Resolution Capitol Management, he provides strategic guidance and industry insight to support the firm’s long-term vision.
Throughout his career at Wilkes Artis, Eric has played a significant role in Maryland’s real estate tax landscape, handling complex tax appeals and landmark cases that have established important legal precedents and generated substantial value for clients. Eric is also recognized for his civic and philanthropic leadership, receiving the 2017 AJC Washington Civic Achievement Award and, alongside his wife Kerry, the 2020 Benjamin Ourisman Memorial Award for Civic Achievement.

Grace Akinfe
Property Accountant
Grace Akinfe serves as a Property Accountant at Resolution Capitol Management, supporting the financial operations of the firm’s real estate portfolio. She brings experience in property accounting, financial analysis and reporting, accounts payable, reconciliations, and month-end close across the real estate, logistics, and healthcare industries.
Grace holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland Global Campus and an Associate degree in Business Administration from the Community College of Baltimore County.
Outside of work, she enjoys strength training, traveling, reading, and hiking with her dog, Gio.

Daria Kolesnikova
Administrative Assistant
Daria Kolesnikova is the Administrative Assistant at Resolution Capitol Management. With over 15 years of experience working for international organizations and a U.S. government agency, Daria brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Before joining RCM, she provided administrative support to U.S. diplomats abroad and contributed to marketing initiatives in the Consumer Market sector at a major consulting firm.
Known for her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, Daria excels as a people-focused problem solver. Her diverse background in administration and marketing enhances the team’s operations and efficiency.
Fluent in both English and Russian, Daria is also a proud mother of two. Outside of work, she enjoys practicing yoga, dancing tango, and exploring new destinations through travel.

Olga Smylie, CPA
Assistant Controller
Olga Smylie joined Resolution Capitol Management to oversee all corporate and property level accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Prior to joining the company, Mrs. Smylie worked as an auditor providing assurance services to a diverse array of businesses including, manufacturing, information technology, financial services, real estate, and construction industries.
Olga found her passion for real estate after she graduated from University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She started a family business where she acquired, managed, and sold multiple properties.
She brings both strong technical accounting expertise and hands-on ownership experience to support the firm’s investment portfolio needs and long-term goals. Olga is known for a “treat it like it’s our own” approach, with a focus on accuracy, process improvement, and reliable reporting that helps leadership make clear decisions. Olga is a licensed CPA in the state of Maryland.

Megan Roberson
Property Manager
Megan Roberson serves as Property Manager at Resolution Capitol Management, bringing nearly a decade of property management experience. Prior to joining the firm, she managed a portfolio of more than 25 tenants across nearly 6 million square feet of commercial real estate in California.
Megan brings a results-driven approach to property operations, tenant relations, and financial performance, with strengths in problem-solving, communication, and strategic thinking. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, which brings a unique perspective to building strong tenant relationships.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys exploring hiking trails with her three dogs and adding to her perfume collection.

Alexa Grossman
Director of Construction
Alexa Grossman oversees all client relationships, new project development, budgeting, and field operations. She is hands-on in the field as well as managing back-of-house process development and documentation. With over 15 years of experience spanning from New York through the DMV, she brings a key eye of detail to each project. Alexa touches every client relationship and project throughout the portfolio, offering the most hands-on team experience. She has educated herself on all aspects of interior construction from Class-A office, Warehouse & Industrial, Retail and Retrofits.
